Rheinhessen Estate Bed & Breakfast is located approx. 1 km away from the QEW. It is a quiet, prestigious neigbourhood with country charm. It is located only 6 km outside of Port Dalhousie, the site of the first Welland Canal. In this beautiful historic town you can enjoy its broad selection of little shops, restaurants, its marina or just spend a relaxing day at the beach.

Our Bed & Breakfast is the perfect place for wine lovers. It is not only close to the wine country with its many wineries! Your host, Veronika, has an excellent knowlege of wine and what can be made of it. Veronika would like to take you to a little culinary trip to Rheinhessen - the largest wine producing area in Germany.

She serves a full breakfast which includes cheese, wurst (sausage), musli (cereal). yogurt, a variety of freshly made breads, rose jelly, wine jelly and spundekas (german speciality cream cheese with herbs). During the summer, we offer delicious pies from our neighbour's fruit farm, made from their homegrown fruits.

There are two cats on the premises of our B&B. They are not allowed in the house. However, if someone is highly allergic, we recommend to avoid our B&B although we regret not being able to meet you.

Veronika enjoys meeting people from all over the world. She is a good listener but also likes to share her life stories. She loves herbal books and does quilting when her time allows it.
